Gustav, whose family is originally from Czechoslovakia had sold Lauren on the idea of having a vacation and a portrait session during their visit to Prague. He also wanted to have a very unique set of portraits created - that of a man and woman dancing atop the Charles Bridge at night while musicians perform. The key element is the bright red dress the woman was wearing in contrast to the dark tones of the overall image. After contacting me about his idea - I was sold and put together a team who could easiyly pull this off. Gustav also had a surprise for Lauren, a stunning diamond engagement ring and during the photo session it was his wish to propose.
With that in mind, the musicians (the talented Viktorie & Pavel), the crew (lighting of course as you wish to have everything perfect – no cutting costs here) and of course the amazing location of the Charles Bridge shortly before sunrise was the perfect atmosphere and what follows is one of the most beautiful marriage proposals ever captured.
