Ulster Freedom Fighter, Shankill Belfast
BELFAST, N. IRELAND - JULY 11: In a show of strength during the July 12th Celebrations, a masked Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) member fires his weapon in front of a massive bonfire in Shankill, Belfast. The UFF, a paramilitary group formed by the Ulster Defence Association (UDA), carried out attacks primarily on Catholics, often at random, in retaliation for IRA actions or attacks on Protestants. The UDA/UFF are believed to be responsible for over 400 deaths.
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MARCH 29: The Bourbon Stock Yards in Louisville see their final cattle loaded into pens after being sold off, bringing a bittersweet end to 165 years of history. The 20-acre property has been acquired by the Home of the Innocents, who plan to construct their new headquarters on the site.

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEPTEMBER 27: During nighttime clashes in Prague, a police officer forcibly removes an IMF/World Bank protestor. The city was ill-equipped to handle the large-scale protests and rioting that occurred during the IMF/World Bank meetings. Approximately 12,000 demonstrators participated, leading to over 900 detentions and injuries to 64 police officers and 20 protestors over several days in the Czech capital.
