This city is truly remarkable and to capture it during the winter months when it is snowing is quite special. When John contacted me about proposing to his lovely girlfriend Natalie, I was excited for them as the weather forecast called for snow. On the day of their session it was snowing, though it was sadly not accumulating as the city was simply too warm. Such is life in Prague that we only have a few truly snow covered days here.
The location, the Hanovsky Pavillion, which is a personal favorite of mine as it is usually a very quiet, peaceful place overlooking the bustling city down below. Natalie was obviously very happy as she thrust out her hand with a very large smile on her face a mere few seconds into John bending down to propose. A few moments of letting them enjoy the mood and Natalie wondering why a photographer was capturing them, I had to introduce myself to the very happy couple.
As these two are very laid back, we opted to head over to Prague Castle for a few candid photos and some of my favorites are of them as they danced amidst the falling snow at the outdoor theater at the castle. Later we walked to the Charles Bridge and of course the riverside and lastly finished our session at Old Town Square. It was a sweet, fun, unforgettable day and I am quite honored to have been a part of this moment in Natalie & John’s lives.
Presented here is the collection of their favorite images.
To Natalie & John, I wish you both much love, happiness and prosperity in your new lives together as husband and wife.
