{Prague Wedding Planners} Julia + Sergio stunning Prague wedding day!

‘My name is Julia. I am planning to get married on 28th of June 2014. After browsing your beautiful work on your website my fiancè and I would like to involve you as our photographer for our special day.’

Honestly, I was totally smitten when I met Julia & Sergio. They were so excited, so very much in love and full of life and joy – you just knew that they were planning a truly special day for the union of their two families: families & friends from Italy, Russia, Switzerland and many others from around the world. They knew Prague, the locations and they knew exactly what they were looking for. My only concern: making sure that they had time to enjoy it. Weddings can be so over choreographed that couples rarely have a few moments alone until it is time for bed.

But Julia & Sergio had the time, time to breath, relax, and take it all in after a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Thomas and to reflect on the days events while overlooking one of the most beautiful skylines in the world. I doubt they will ever forget those special moments above Prague on that very special summer day in June.

It was a beautiful and wonderful in so many ways, I hope these images convey that.

To Julia & Sergio, I wish you both much love, happiness and prosperity in your new lives together as husband and wife.

Charles Bridge Wedding / K&J / prague wedding day

When I first met Kimberly & Jules last year I knew that they were planning something truly special for those who were lucky enough to join them here. After all how often do you see couples exchanging vows amongst the cobblestones of a truly historical and well known place as the Charles Bridge? But what I really liked about Kimberly & Jules – they are two especially warm hearted, wonderful people – the kind you instantly like and truly enjoy being around. You just knew that this was going to be special.

With a violin player leading the way, Kimberly & her mother strode across the Charles Bridge and it was truly quite a site to behold as her Jules waited anxiously for her beautiful bride. It was a very special symbolic ceremony as the two exchanged vows under the watchful eyes of the historic statues and a huge amount of tourists who were happily clicking away at this truly unique occasion.

Afterwards it was a tour of the usual sites around the riverside before heading off to U Fleck where their guests awaited. U Flecku is a very traditional Czech brewery as Kimberly & Jules wanted a very Czech feel to their wedding and they did not let them down. With much singing, dancing, toasting- and of course who can forget Leos Brabec dancing atop the tables and then asking them to dodge traffic for a video of them in front of the dancing building – it was quite a nite. And then a final kiss in front of the historic U Fleku as it poured down rain. It was in a word: beautiful.

To Kimberly & Jules, I am so incredibly happy for the two of you. I wish both of you much love, happiness and prosperity in your new lives together. And I am very much looking forward to seeing you two again here in Praha.

Elopement wedding Prague / Vrtbovska Garden / Polya & Dirk wedding day

First off the weather was gorgeous, picture perfect for our latest bride Polya who married the very lucky Dirk at Prague’s stunning Baroque garden Vrtba Zahrada. With a horse and carriage to deliver them to the garden it was a truly beautiful day for an elopement wedding. To be honest, as much as I enjoy weddings (especially those all day long affairs) I truly enjoy the intimacy of being with a young couple, who without fanfare, simply marry in a wonderful location. No fuss, no stress, no worries, just two people having a wonderful time exchanging their vows and then heading out for a truly fantastic portrait session as they experience their day as husband and wife.

If I was to marry again this is how I would do it!
