Prague pre wedding photography Enzo & Ray lifestyle session

A Charles Bridge marriage proposal and a special pre wedding portrait session in Prague with Enzo & Ray who traveled over from Hong Kong!

Not only did Ray have a truly wonderful trip and a pre wedding portrait session planned for his beautiful girlfriend Enzo, but he wanted to make it official. So on a very special & romantic evening under a rare Super Moon, Ray got down on one knee and proposed to Enzo on top of one of the most romantic places in Europe: The Charles Bridge.

Enzo was clearly in shock and with tears running down her cheeks she smiled and quickly said yes. As a former magazine photographer who traded in social reporting for capturing these wonderful sessions where people are having fun and enjoying their lives together – it is evenings like this that make this work all the more special. There are really no words that I can express to sum up my feelings of being invited to capture this wonderful moment in two very special peoples lives.

Enzo & Ray, I wish you both much happiness, success and luck in your new lives together as husband and wife. I look forward to one day catching up again (perhaps in Hong Kong) and I am especially pleased to hear how happy you two are with the results.

Some reflections from Ray & Enzo:

We are honored and thanks to Kurt to be our pre-wedding photographer and our witness of our Proposal in Prague. Special thanks for the advices and suggestions for the places of shootings, especially for the place and moment of the Proposal, the photos reflected our true expression during Proposal. Kurt is very professional for the whole shooting process, including the rundown, places and gestures, since we are no experience for taking pre-wedding photos and no ideas for the places of Prague before that. We love the results very much and our family and friends are appreciated for that as well! Furthermore, the price charged was reasonable which is within our budget and much cheaper than the team we found in Hong Kong! We do not hesitate to share our experience and recommend Kurt to our friends.

Hluboka nad Vltavou Castle weddings / O&A / elopement wedding

Olga & Alexei traveled down from Russia – a country whose history and people I have always enjoyed, to have their elopement wedding in the Czech Republic.

They wanted something very simple with their wedding, no fanfare, no fuss, no worries, just the two of them at one of the most beautiful castles in Europe: Castle Hluboka nad Vlatavou. It was clearly one of those stunning fall days that we photographers absolutely crave: the beautiful autumn light, the colors of the foliage, and especially later the warmth of the late golden setting sun. To be honest, getting out of Prague and traveling to this magnificent castle is always quite special for me.

One thing I enjoyed about Olga & Alexei – how easy going they were. Capturing them experiencing this wonderful day was really fantastic and I doubt they will ever forget that wonderful day and especially the feelings they had. The only way we could have topped this session off was to have a final series of portraits of them captured in Prague – so after the drive back we did just that. And the last few hours was on me – as they deserved it.

Nothing like a romantic pre wedding portrait session in the cool winter months. Winona & Eric traveled over from Hong Kong to have their pre wedding portrait session with yours truly. We simply had a great time traveling around the city and taking in the many wonderful sites. Though we started late in the afternoon we concentrated on having a truly beautiful nite time portrait session. And as you can see Prague at night never disappoints. We did segue into a few indoor locations to warm up and to capture the atmosphere as well as the stunning architecture.

Though the weather was chilly Prague and especially my team did not disappoint. Thank you to Erik and Winona for choosing us here for your truly romantic pre wedding session.
