St. Thomas Church wedding / Rachel & Brendan Prague wedding photos

When Rachel contacted me about her wedding I was pretty excited. She is friends with one of my first clients from 2008 who also had an elopement wedding in Prague: Tara & Ethan. Originally she was thinking of marrying in the Ukraine (a country I very much love ) and bringing me out for it, but it became a bit more complicated that they had time for. So they decided to elope here in Prague. Knowing that it was going to be just her and her fiancee Brendan I really wanted to create something truly special for them.

They had a very simple and beautiful ceremony at the Church of St. Thomas in the heart of Mala Strana. I always felt that this was one of the most beautiful churches in Prague and of course it was all the more special as pastor PhDr. P. William Faix is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

After their vows under the stunning murals of this incredible church, it was time to head out to enjoy the warmth of this enchanting city. As the weather was simply perfect we decided to enjoy a boat ride along the Vltava. Personally, if you have the time, this makes for a truly unforgettable excursion and Brenden was more than happy to row his stunning and beaming bride Rachel around as other boaters also took pictures and cozied up to them.

Afterwards, we took a wonderful stroll around the city simply capturing them enjoying their first day together as husband and wife. I must admit, Rachel & Brenden are two very sweet and incredibly nice people (Canadians of course!) and being able to capture their wedding day in a truly relaxed and fun way was a real treat and joy.

To Rachel & Brenden, I wish both of you much happiness, success and love in your new lives together! And congratulations on the new addition to the family.

Castle Zbiroh Wedding / Paola & Alexei / wedding day

If you ever dreamt of having a castle wedding in the Czech countryside – Castle Zbiroh is one of those truly beautiful castles that should no doubt come to mind. Paola & Alexei were looking for the perfect place for their friends and family from around the world to view them exchange their vows and they chose this historic and stunning castle.

They had a truly incredible wedding day and hopefully the small collection of images here capture what everyone experienced. The wonderful bride Paola wrote some beautiful comments about her experience that I would like to share with you:

FOREVER GRATEFUL!!!, When I remember my wedding day there is no doubt that my best choice was the photographer! To see someone enjoying their work it’s pleasant, but then when this person is so good at what he does, then it’s just beautiful. Nature did it’s part, we had non stop rainy days and the sun just came out exactly for the photo shoot. And surprisingly with a rainbow at the end. Thanks to Kurt we will be able to keep this memory forever. It was really an honor that you could take our pictures.

For all the future brides, Kurt is a MUST for your wedding. He has a charming personality, clearly lots of experience, is very creative and he travels for weddings!! For us, we were very lucky to have him on our wedding day. You can have a beautiful wedding, but pictures will allow us to remember those moments for the rest of our lives, it was just perfect.

Chateau Mcely wedding / Ludmilla & Sergey wedding

Luxury weddings: Ludmilla & Sergey’s beautiful Chateau Mcely Wedding Day!

What can you say: a young attractive and fun couple, a beautiful location at one of the Czech Republic’s more charming Chateau and a beautiful fall day in the Czech Republic combined for a truly spectacular wedding day.

Ludmilla looked absolutely stunning when I first met her, she was simply beaming as a young bride to be. And the always smiling Sergey was quite relaxed as he took in the grounds with his friends who traveled down to watch them exchange vows.

As the musicians started to play all eyes were on the smiling Ludmilla as she was escorted by her father to a wonderful location under a large old tree on the Chateau’s grounds. After the ceremony it was time for champagne toasts and a walk (or bike) ride around the grounds.

The one thing I will always enjoy about the two of them was just how relaxed and easy going they were – and of course how young. The following is a small selecting of truly stunning photos captured on their beautiful wedding day.
