Moody, dark pre wedding photos from Prague

Dela & Erik wanted to end their day long pre wedding session with a romantic set of images that they could be proud of. When they told me their choice was the Charles Bridge I smiled. They already had an early morning session and experience it already, so I was a bit surprised by their request. But as Dela stated they wanted to return to where it all began.

The bridge at night can best be described as chaotic at the best of times and downright crowded and impossible to work one at worst. When we arrived it was exactly that - extremely busy. But by using a certain lighting technique and a long lens we were able to isolate them (and remove all of the distractions of the people) as they shared in this special moment. These moody & dark portraits are coming back in to style again and so I thought to bring this one out. It was shot in the year 2008 - the same year I started this wonderful journey.
