NYC bride & groom embrace in ancestral vineyards

Hannah & Ben traveled over from New York City for their Czech wedding in Milotice in Moravia. What makes their wedding day so special was Hannah's family comes from here. To come back and reconnect with family & friends and bring others to share in that joy was quite special. During the evening festivities (after a few rounds of Slivovice) we took leave of their guests and took a stroll up to the villa and the grounds her family once owned. As they explored the quiet grounds - they ran their hands across it's storied facade. It was just a small touch, but that connection with the past can mean so much - especially on a day such as this. What makes Moravia so special is just how close the people are to these beautiful, rolling lands and how important family is.

Before we headed back - Hana took Ben's hand and led him quietly into the vineyards. This picture is the result - nothing fancy, no posing, just two people enjoying a special moment that few can understand.

Weddings are not only about the joy of the day but also about connecting families. For Hana & Ben that quiet time they spent that evening will be one of the many moments they can relive over and over again.
