Katie & Michael wanted something truly unforgettable for their family & friends who were traveling in from around the world. Though they live in London and knew it well, they had their heart set on marrying in a city that have come to visit many times and fell in love with. When I met them a year before their wedding the beautiful bride to be was clearly quite nervous. Having the right photographer to ensure that their wedding day ran smoothly was quite important to both of them. They were more focused on a natural style as they were not a fan of the overly posed look. So much so that Katie also announced that she wanted to forgo the preparation photos.
On the day of the weather was not looking that great in fact it was rather grey and dull, but when Katie walked into the garden (her eyes were only focused on Michael) she looked absolutely stunning. Michael stood there with a huge cheshire cat grin as her father handed her off.
What follows is simply a reportage of a young couple, very much in love, who planned every detail and had a whirlwind of a wedding day. I am very glad that we (the 2 - videographers, my assistant and I) had 2 hours to take them around to some of the more hidden gems of this incredible city and knowing that they are two private individuals it worked out very well as we literally had the garden to ourselves.
One of the nicer things about their wedding day was when the sun finally came out shortly before we left the garden to catch up with their family & friends at the Charles Bridge. There were indeed many wonderful moments captured there before we headed off for a long evening of dancing, singing and lots of wine.
All in all, a truly beautiful & fun day for two very deserving and sweet people.
