We had the great pleasure of capturing beautiful images of Suzanne & Derek’s wedding day in Prague last weekend. Both flew in from Aberdeen Scotland to marry with many of their family & friends.
On the day of the wedding, Suzanne arrived at Prague’s Old Town Hall in a beautiful Rolls Royce attracting hundreds of onlookers who are always present in the romantic square. As tourists took pictures of the stunning bride and her car, several went out of their way to congratulate her personally as well as have their picture taken with the blushing bride.
After a short ceremony, complete with Derek and many of the men attired in their customary kilts, we took a leisurely stroll around Staromestske namesti enjoying the sites.
Later we headed to the always-popular Kampa Park. Kampa offers stunning views of the ‘New Town’ of Prague. It is also a favorite of many photographers (and even this wedding photographer) interested in capturing a different view of the city.
Suzanne & Derek chose the always-stylish Alchymist Hotel for their reception. And it was here that we took advantage of some quiet time to do one last portrait session of the newlyweds in this romantic, yet eclectic atmosphere.
