Congratulations to Sam & Andy who recently married here in Prague!
I have been looking forward to Sam & Andy’s wedding for some time now as they are a truly wonderful couple, and they have been working quite hard to create the most beautiful wedding for not only themselves but for their family & friends. Plus Sam is a truly fantastic wedding photographer and so I was very humbled that they chose me to be their wedding photographer. Photographers around the world would literally jump at the chance to photograph a wedding in the beautiful city of Prague and for them to chose me was personally a big deal.
Wearing a stunning red wedding dress, Sam truly made an impression as she walked down the white carpet of Prague’s St. Thomas church with her father as a very dapper and very pleased Andy awaited his beautiful young bride.
After their wonderful ceremony and many hugs and kisses from their many family & friends who traveled down from the UK - it was time for a fun filled river cruise along the Vltava. Though the rain became a big part of their wedding day – it did not dampen the mood as everyone truly enjoyed the sites, and of course there was plenty of dancing as a wonderful swing band performed as we cruised along. It was also quite memorable watching the many onlookers atop Charles Bridge waive and take photos of Sam & Andy – after all it is not every day you can see such a stunning bride wearing a red wedding dress.
After the cruise we headed off for a quick portrait session at the never dull National Muzeum before heading off to one of Prague’s most beautiful restaurants the Alchymst Nosticova where the guests were waiting in the summer garden. The Alchymst is a wonderful choice for not only dinner, but for a long night of dancing and partying. And partied they did as theirs lasted into the early morning as everyone was having a fantastic time and simply did not want the night to end.
One of my personal highlights of Sam & Andy’s wedding day was taking them out in the evening for a quick portrait session in the rain. Though all of us were absolutely soaked, Sam & Andy truly enjoyed the foggy, rainy evening atop the Charles Bridge and it truly made for some unforgettable and beautiful moments – much like their wedding day.

To Sam & Andy – you guys rock! Really, I had so much fun working with you you on your wedding day. I wish you both much love, happiness and success in your new lives together. And Sam anytime you want to come down to Praha and work with me – just give me a ring! I would love to work with you – you were one of the most pleasant and wonderful brides I have ever worked with – I could only imagine how great you must be when you are on the other side of the camera.
