When I first met Katie & David you could really tell they were excited about their wedding here in Prague. With family & friends coming down from the UK they arrived in Prague at just the right time: Spring!
Katie & David chose to marry at one of my favorite locations here in Prague, St. Nicholas Church. It is located in the heart of Starometske Namesti and as you can see it is a truly stunning place to not only marry but to create some beautiful images. After two years of taking pictures here I am still finding new angles or trying a new look as it is simply the most beautiful church in Prague to marry in.
With their beautiful ceremony over we headed off for a short time to create some portraits of them in and around Mala Strana (or the little quarter as is commonly known). Prague is always full of tourists so we decided to head off the beaten track a bit and walk around some of the smaller less crowded streets and as you can see we stopped along the way to capture some really sweet images of them as they were really enjoying themselves.
As their wedding reception was at the Bellevue (http://www.bellevuerestaurant.cz/) – a restaurant I can highly recommend – we decided to poke our heads into the Pachtuv Palace (http://www.pachtuvpalace.com/) next door where the friendly staff is always willing to accommodate my wishes to create some stylish portraits on their staircase. There is something quite beautiful about the image of Katie & David in that staircase.
To Katie & David, a wonderful couple and I really enjoyed getting to know, I wish you both much love and success in your future together! And perhaps one day we will meet again along the cobblestone streets of Prague!
