After several gloomy days the sun decided to break through and in a truly glorious manner and just in time for Jessica & Petr’s wedding at St. Vaclav in Borsice in the heart of Moravia.
Their wedding day was truly a lot of fun to photograph and what I really enjoy about Jessica & Petr is that their fun personality really shines through every aspect of it.
And like many Moravian weddings there were quite a few old traditions that added to the festive atmosphere as family members & friends – some of whom traveled in as far as the United States – took part in.
We did take leave of our guests to travel to the Chateau Buchlovice, a stunning Italian Baroque Villa where we created some beautiful portraits. The picture of Petr holding a white rose up to his beautiful wife as the sunlight flared around them is one of my favorite portraits – beautiful, romantic, timeless, radiant, it succinctly reflects the moment they were sharing.
It was also quite funny watching the video guys try to get the attention of a very loud peacock who was very happy to show his feathers but was not willing to cooperate for their ideas of a portrait.
After the portrait session it was time to return to the Hotel Konicek where a night of live music, dancing & partying with friends and family awaited.

To Jessica & Petr, I wish you both much love and future success in your new life together as husband and wife. It was a pleasure getting to know you two as well as being a part of your beautiful wedding day. I hope you enjoy the small selection of images presented here as there are many more beautiful images on the way.
