The strangest thing about this fall has been the weather – sunshine on the weekends and then cold, gray, dreary, rainy conditions during the week. So when I met up with Jano & Jeromy, two laid back, easy-going Australians, I was a bit worried that this weekend the tide would turn… but, once again, Prague showed her true colors. Amidst the beautiful architecture of the ‘City of a Hundred Spires’ a very deserving couple had a beautiful wedding day with glorious weather.
Jano & Jeromy’s wedding day started with a ceremony at the beautiful St. Nicholas Church in the heart of Prague, a place I never tire of photographing in. After some group shots with family & friends (many of who flew in from Australia), we headed off for a bit of stroll as their friends and family boarded a yacht for some sightseeing. If you’re going to enjoy a quiet glass of champagne on your wedding day there is no better locale than The Four Seasons.
From there we headed off to stroll across Charles Bridge, which was not as busy as you would expect on a weekend. Normally the bridge is very difficult to shoot on as you are literally standing shoulder to shoulder with thousands of other people. As Jano & Jeromy are into architecture, this was a golden opportunity to create images that capture some of the details of this architectural gem.
So after a few more stops we headed off to join up with family and friends at C’est La Vie in Kampa Park, which also a great place to moor your yacht. All in all it was a very relaxing, fun-filled day, enjoying the architecture and the atmosphere of Prague.
Congratulations again to Jano & Jeromy, a fun couple! We wish them both happiness and continued success.
