Congratulations to Anne & Rich who recently married here in Prague!

Before they wedded, Anne & Rich decided to have a pre-wedding portrait session here in Prague - where they both reside. So on a recent summer evening we headed out for a fun filled evening of portraits on the cobblestone streets of Prague. Prague is very popular when it comes to creating stunning pre-wedding portraits or simply portraits in general and so I was very pleased that Anne & Rich decided to take advantage of the stunning location. And as you can see it was a lot of fun and of course it helps when you have a smokin couple who really enjoy their time together such as Anne & Rich.

To Anne & Rich, it was great being a part of your evening as well as your wedding day. I wish you both much love, happiness and success in your new live’s together as husband and wife. And I look forward to meeting up with you again! And a big thank you to my studly/kick ass assistant Johanna who is sadly leaving us for Paris! You will be missed…

Sona & Pavel chose to wed at the beautiful 16th Century Chapel of St. Anthony that was built in 1757 by Frantisek Antonin Grim. The chapel overlooks the Moravian town of Dolni Kounice and is simply a beautiful setting to not only marry but to take in the tranquil valley below. In addition to the chapel there is a Calvalry with 14 stations that lead to the chapel.

After their wedding and congratulations (complete with the local Plum brandy) it was time to head to the castle that is on another hill that is opposite the chapel for the dinner and party complete with live music and many bottles of locally produced ‘frankovka’ wine. With so many young families and children on hand it was a wonderful atmosphere for everyone as Sona & Pavel really wanted the children to enjoy their wedding day as well.

Nearby the castle is a convent that was founded in 1181 by Vilem z Pulina for the sisters of the Premonstrate Order. Vilem z Pulina was forced to build the convent as punishment for the depredation of monastaries and churches in Austria. Today most of the convent is in ruins and for Sona & Pavel it made an ideal place for an evening portrait session. As you can see it was a truly wonderful idea and Sona & Pavel really enjoyed their time together.

Later in the evening it was time to light the flying wishes. With so many people on hand, it was truly beautiful watching so many of them float gently up into the night sky - I am sure many of the people on hand, many will never forget this truly beautiful wedding day.

To Sona & Pavel - congratulations again! It was a real treat for me to be a part of your beautiful wedding day. I wish both of you much love, happiness and success in your new life’s together as husband & wife.

There are some couple’s who are simply a joy to be around - Debbie & Nick are one of those couples. When we first met some time back I knew immediately we were going to have a great time on their wedding day.

The view from Nebozizek, the weather, and the atmosphere provided a nice relaxing spot for family members and friends to watch as Debbie & Nick exchanged vows. Later after their reception and dinner we set out for an evening portrait session just as the sky started to flare showing a beautiful range of colors as the sun set behind Prague Castle. We arrived just in time and as you can see everything came together quite nicely as Debbie & Nick enjoyed their first evening together as newlyweds.

To Debbie & Nick, it was truly a joy to be a part of your wedding day, I hope you two receive a lifetime of joy out of these images created for you. I wish you both much love, happiness and success in your new live’s together as husband and wife.

Congratulations to Kaiki & Nanako who traveled from Japan to marry here at Prague’s St. Nicholas Church!

Kaiki & Nanko held their beautiful ceremony on a very hot summer day in Prague recently and I was very happy to be a part of it. They really enjoyed their time here and Kaiki (who insisted on ‘no sexy photos’) really let her hair down and had a great time doing it. We started our session at Old Town Square before heading over to Vrtbovska where most of their portraits were held before heading off to Prague Castle for one final image.

I always enjoy working with couples from around the world and even if we cannot speak the same language what truly matters is everyone is having a great time. As you can see they truly enjoyed their time here in Prague and now will have beautiful family heirlooms that will last generations.

To Kaiki & Nanako, I wish you both much love, success and happiness in your new life together.

Aya & Yoshihiro chose to marry at the very popular (and truly beautiful) St. Nicholas church at Starometske Namesti - or as we like to call it Old Town Square. After their beautiful ceremony we headed out for a small portrait session to take in the sites of Prague. One of my favorite parts of their wedding day was capturing some truly beautiful pictures of Aya while a proud Yoshihiro watched. Together Aya & Yoshiro really enjoyed themselves and let loose and hopefully some of these images have captured their very fun and warm personality.

To Aya & Yoshihiro, I wish you both much love, success and happiness in your new life together!

Congratulations to Chelsea & Jiri who traveled over to Prague to marry at the wonderful Vrtbovska Zahrada.

I have been looking forward to meeting Chelsea and Jiri as they both sounded like such a fun couple,  and after meeting them in person I just knew we were going to have a great time. Chelsea really is a stunning lady and watching her transform into a beautiful bride was truly enjoyable. Chelsea & Jiri’s wedding venue - Vrtbovska Zahrada is a highly sought after location for weddings and as you can see - it truly is stunning, which was befitting the many guests and family members who watched Chelsea and Jiri exchange their wedding vows.

Naturally one of the best things about marrying at Vrtbovska Zahrada, besides the opulence and the fact that few people know where it is - is the ability to really enjoy some stunning views of Prague’s Mala Strana, and create some fantastic portraits in peace and quiet. As we climbed to the top of the garden I could really tell that Chelsea and Jiri were having a great time and later in the evening we took them out again for a very quick session at Prague Castle. Though the weather played havoc on our schedule it could not stop everyone from enjoying a truly beautiful wedding day for two very deserving and loving people!

To Chelsea and Jiri  - congratulations! You two are a truly wonderful couple, I wish you both much love, happiness and future success in your new live’s together as husband and wife! I hope you enjoy the selection of images presented here - and feel free to leave a comment if you wish.

Congratulations to Tara & Jan who traveled over from Australia to marry at one of my favorite destinations: Hluboka nad Vltavou.

If I had to describe Tara & Jan and their wedding day, the only word that truly fits is: gorgeous!

A fantastic couple, weather, location, family & friends (who traveled from afar and near) and a wonderful atmosphere combined to make this one of those truly memorable weddings. Simply everything came together beautifully. For those who were lucky enough to be there to celebrate their union - this truly was a fairy tale wedding and what made it even more special was the fact that it was for two very caring, warm and wonderful people such as Tara & Jan!

To Tara & Jan, I wish you both much happiness, success and love in your new life together as husband and wife. I very much enjoyed creating these beautiful images on your behalf and I hope you receive a lifetime of joy out of them. And I hope the enjoy the small sample of images presented here as your disk is on its way!

Congratulations to Sarah & David who married at Ledeburska Zahrada underneath Prague Castle!

Sarah & David with their closest family & friends traveled down from Belfast to marry at the beautiful Baroque gardens that are located under Prague castle. Though it was  the hottest day of the year - everyone held up pretty well including the lovely bride whose wedding dress really was the center of attention standing underneath the beautiful arched ceilings. With classical music performed by wonderful musicians it was a  beautiful ceremony in one of the most wonderful locations in Prague to marry in.

After the reception and some much needed champagne  it was time to head off for a quick portrait session - as you can see Ledeburska really is a stunning garden for portraits and with Sarah & David really enjoying themselves everything came together quite nicely.

Later we traveled over to the castle steps where they were welcomed into a Medieval themed restaurant Krale Brabentskeo, but only after Sarah & David continued in the Czech tradition of cleaning up the broken plate that was dropped during their champagne toast welcoming them into the pub. This tradition has its roots in two superstitions: that the broken chips  will bring happiness and that thee newlyweds willing to clean up the shards jointly will ensure that their marriage will be a happy and harmonious one.

The restaurant proved to be very popular as much singing, dancing and even a bit of sword play was enjoyed by all.  Later one of the swords came in handy when it was time for Sarah & David to cut their wedding cake.

To Sarah & David, I wish you both much love, happiness and future success together in your new life. It was a real pleasure being a part of your wedding day and I hope you get a lifetime of enjoyment out of these beautiful images created on your behalf. And who knows perhaps the next time we meet we will be in a pub in Belfast.

David & Sarah traveled over from Belfast, N. Ireland to marry here in Prague. Before their wedding day they spent some time with us having their Engagement Portrait Session. We decided to start our session atop Petrin Hill, this is where Prague’s smaller version of the Eiffel Tower is located. Originally built in 1891 for the Jubilee Exhibition it has become a sought after spot for people who are interested in having a magnificent view over Prague. In addition to the Petrin Observation Tower,  the local gardens provided a nice backdrop for Sarah & David as they enjoyed a late summer evening in Prague.

We concluded our E-Session at Prague Castle where we could enjoy the magic hour of twinkling lights over the valley that stretched below us.

In a few days we will be presenting some stunning images from their wedding that was held at the beautiful Ledeburska Gardens under Prague Castle.

Congratulations to Andrea & Andres who were married on a beautiful summer day with many of their closest family & friends who traveled from all over the globe to celebrate their union. With a short ceremony at Prague’s famous Old Town Hall it was off to Zofin island in the heart of Prague for their reception and dinner. Zofin provided a stylish backdrop as many heartfelt speeches were given including a surprise video conference with friends in Peru where Andres originally hails from who wanted to share in their celebrations. After dinner everyone tried out their best moves on the dance floor to much applause and laughter.

Later we took Andrea & Andres on a short walk along the river promenade to capture them as they enjoyed the wonderful night atmosphere of Prague. Obviously with a great looking couple as Andrea & Andres they were the center of attention no matter where we went and quite a few other people were also taking photos of them enjoying their time out together.

At the end of the evening it was time for everyone to light their flying wishes for the newlyweds.  Watching them float upwards into the night sky was a truly fitting and beautiful way to end a very special and beautiful wedding day in Prague with two very deserving people.

To Andrea & Andres, I wish you both much love,  happiness and future success in your new life together! I hope you will receive a lifetime of joy out of these special mementos of your wedding day. And I look forward to meeting up with you two again here in Prague!
