{Prague Wedding Photography}  Polina & Josh’s beautiful  Destination Wedding in Prague, Czech Republic!

An awesome couple deserves awesome wedding photography – especially when they come in from America & Russia…

Polina & Josh simply fell in love with Prague when they visited here during the cold winter months. So when it came time to have their dream destination wedding they could have gone anywhere in Europe, but instead chose  Prague’s historic Old Town Hall on a glorious summer day. As Josh is a proud member of the US Navy it was my duty as a military ‘brat’ to create something truly special for them – after all my mother would not have allowed it any other way.

So after their wedding at the Old Town Hall and some family portraits we headed off for several hours to capture this stunning couple enjoying their wedding day amidst the historic cobblestone streets of Prague.

Naturally wherever  they went they were the center of attention as Polina was simply the most beautiful bride in Prague and lots of people and aspiring wedding photographers were following us around taking snaps.

Later that nite Josh had one more surprise for his lovely bride as he stepped out in his Navy whites and then later swept her off her feet for a kiss under the twinkling stars atop Prague’s historic Charles Bridge. A dream ending to a dream day and who could ask for anything better than that!

To Polina & Josh, you guys rock! Being a part of your wedding day was simply brilliant and I hope the two of you and your wonderful families get a lifetime of enjoyment out of these new family heirlooms. I wish both of you much love, happiness and success in your new live’s together as husband & wife.

{Contemporary Irish Wedding Photographers} Laura & Donal’s Wedding day!

Congratulations to a truly wonderful couple Laura & Donal who wedded at the lovely St. Oliver Plunkett Church in Kilcloon and later had their reception at the Carton House in Maynooth.

Sometimes it is best to let the pictures speak for themselves, especially  as there were so many wonderful moments during their unforgettable wedding day.  Though I must add Laura looked absolutely stunning as she made her entrance to the church to the patiently waiting Donal proudly escorted by her beaming father. In fact there were so many wonderful moments – I really should stop and simply  let the images speak for themselves.

To Laura & Donal – You two are such a tremendous couple, I am honored to have been a part of your wonderful wedding day. I wish both of you much love, happiness and future success together as husband and wife!  And to all of the wonderful family members and of course friends – thank you for letting me share in this special day and allowing me the privilege of being a small part of it.

{Prague Wedding Photographers} Yelena & Ivan’s Castle Wedding & Prague Wedding Portraits!

Yelena & Ivan traveled down from Moscow to marry at one of our favorite places,   Castle Zbiroh. With a chauffeured Bentley driving the very stylish Yelena who looked stunning and Ivan following behind in a Mercedes it was one of those beautiful spring days where a drive through the countryside felt wonderful especially as we approached the tower that stands above the romantic 14th century castle that overlooks the valley down below.

Of course when we arrived to the castle it began to cloud up, but that did not take away from the stunning wedding ceremony held at the castle’s small and candle lit chapel.  After the very simple, yet elegant ceremony it was time to tour this historic venue. One of the highlights for all of us is the videographer who really had a great time staging many of his images as the castle is quite stunning.  But so did we as Yelena & Ivan celebrated their wedding vows in the various halls and rooms and of course an intimate dance in the grand ballroom.

After a round of champagne and chocolates it was time for one last session and that was to be held in Praha! One of the most special places to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Prague is the Vrtbovska Zahrada and after Yelena & Ivan climbed the steps to the top they quickly agreed as the peaceful atmosphere allowed them some time to simply step back and enjoy the solitude of this very peaceful and yet romantic spot.Yelena & Ivan really had a great time and their two friends also had a great laugh as we created some wonderful pictures of them as well.

For nearly all of our couples there is one final photo that they must have  – a picture of themselves against the backdrop of the historic Charles Bridge. Though the bridge is typically wall to wall with people that didn’t stop us from creating some truly memorable and stylish wedding photos of two very happy and very enjoyable people who chose to have their Elopement Wedding in Prague! Congratulations to Yelena & Ivan!

{Rome Wedding & Pre-Wedding Photographers}   Jana & Jeff’s Romantic Anniversary Portrait Session in Rome!

When you have just surpassed 10-years together as husband and wife what better way to celebrate your marriage than having a romantic, evening  portrait session in Rome, Italy?

Rome is such an amazing city and of course there are many places you can chose but we left it up to Jana & Jeff as they know Rome intimately and only wanted to visit  places that have a special place in their heart. Luckily for us it was one of those stunning weekends where the weather was not too hot and the crowds were not as insane as they normally are.

Our session started with a truly spectacular sunset overlooking Rome from Monteverde. The sky just magically flared and luckily for us we were there at just the right time.  Afterwards we headed down to the stunning Castle San Angelo (which is pictured above) where one of my favorite pictures taken of the two of them was captured.

Rome truly is an incredibly picturesque city and especially at night where she really comes alive and to be able to photograph  two wonderful and loving people such as Jeff and Jana was  an experience I will not forget. Of course creating a stunning image such as the two of them in front of the Pantheon will be an image I will always look back on proudly as the magic of that night was captured in that single frame…

But like all wonderful evenings it must eventually come to an end, and what better way to end their session than to visit Trevi Fountain. No matter what time of day or evening Trevi Fountain is a place where all lovers in Rome must come to and the promise of Trevi is – you will eventually come back! And therein lies the magic of Rome, such an incredible city you will always want to come back and relive those special memories of a beautiful, romantic evening in Rome!

To Jana & Jeff, congratulations! You two are not only two wonderful people, but parents and friends and those of us who know you are richer for it.  I hope the two of you receive a lifetime of enjoyment out of these beautiful images captured on your behalf! Wishing you both continued happiness, success and much love in your lives together!

{Prague Wedding Photographers} Alexandra & Pavel’s Elopement Wedding in Prague!

Alexandra & Pavel traveled down from Moscow to marry in Prague and they could not have picked a more stunning day. On days like the one they married on the city simply feels more alive after a long gray winter.

With a small intimate wedding at Prague’s historic Old Town Square attended by a few friends who were also ‘just visiting’ it was time to explore this stunning city.  With the usual sites such as Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and of course along the river all of us had a wonderful time as they experienced Prague together and for the first time as husband and wife.

Sometimes you meet a couple and you just know that they are perfect for each other, that no matter what they will make it through whatever hardships life will throw them -  Alexandra & Pavel are that couple.  Just being around them will make you smile.

To Alexandra & Pavel, I wish both of you much love, happiness and success in your new lives together as husband and wife.  I look forward to meeting you two again in the future  – perhaps we will do a 10-year anniversary session – and on me here in Prague? ; )

2012 Summer Specials!

Prague – April and May Savings! – Book us for a half day session in Prague (four hours) and a half day session (four hours)  in Cesky Krumlov and receive our discounted rate of 1400 Euros (includes VAT).  Travel to and from Cesky Krumlov with us at no additional charge. With this package you can choose up to 100 high res retouched files as part of your order.  {Please note availability may not be valid for Thursday’s through Sunday}

Rome – May 7th – 13th Specials!  Full day (8 hours) of shooting around the famous sites of Rome with half our session during the daytime and the other half at night to showcase the wonders of this beautiful city. Special price is 2,000 Euros – package consists of 120 artistically retouched images suitable for large format printing.  An online gallery of proofs will be provided within 72 hours. Price does not include travel around Rome and or expenses for refreshments. Book early as we will only have 5 slots for this session and only one couple per day is possible.

Venice -  July 15th-19th – Book before March 1st and save 20% off our package price and receive 2 kick ass photographers for your Venice Pre Wedding Portrait Session! Florence  -  July 23th – 29th – Book before March 1st and save 20% off our package price and receive 2 kick ass photographers for your Venice Pre Wedding Portrait Session! Featuring myself and the lovely  and talented Sherri Barber from the USA  (and a former bride of mine) we will have a wonderful time as two fantastic photographers with two very unique visions create a stunning array of images captured during your time in the beaufil city of Florence!

Hong Kong – November 8-18th – yes, we are going to Hong Kong! Both myself and the wonderful Sherri Barber will be traveling to Hong Kong to work in one of the most amazingly visual cities in the world. We would be delighted to interpret the stunning Hong Kong with its stunning night life, vistas and panaramas of the city  and your pre wedding portrait session in our way. Also, if you are interested in having us be your wedding photographers while we are there, please shoot us an email and let us know your dates and we would be very happy to get back with you.

{Pre Wedding Portrait Vienna} Moon Ley & Bharat’s Pre Wedding Session in Vienna!

Moon Ley & Bharat are fans of architecture and of course with this being their first time in Vienna we wanted to really mix things up a bit and show them a large variety of famous Viennese landmarks. We decided to start our day off in a casual and fun way at Prater, which is a well known haunt in Vienna with it’s giant Ferris Wheel (Riesenrad) that was erected in 1897 and has been featured in countless movies.

After our visit to Prater it was back to the flat for an outfit change and then off to the famous Parliament building with it’s incredible architecture.  This part of Vienna is simply stunning and a wonderful place for some single portraits of Moon Ley who looked like a princess as she stood in front of the Parliament building as not only the police but a  small crowd watched as our portrait session unfolded.

Afterwards it was off to one of the most spectacular locations in Vienna for pre wedding portraits: the Schoenbrunn Palace.  We arrived just in time as the sun was setting behind the stunning Gloriette. The Gloriette sits atop the hill looking down over the famous Schoenbrunn Palace and the beautiful sites of Vienna. It is also an incredibly romantic spot for portraits especially when there are so few people milling about as it was on our evening.

After returning to the centre it was time to warm up a bit at the famous Viennese landmark Cafe Griensteidl  before one final outfit change before heading out for one final time.

The wonderful thing about doing a pre-wedding portrait session in Vienna is the incredible amount of incredible architecture. There is simply so much of it that you never truly feel like you see enough. The other thing, getting to know a young couple and capturing them experiencing the new sites and of course those new memories. I do hope that the following edit of images captures not only the beauty that is Vienna but also the personalities of a young & wonderful couple: Moon Ley & Bharat.

{Pre Wedding Portrait Prague} Germaine & Nick’s Romantic Pre Wedding Session

Sometimes everything comes together for a reason. Though it was cold it did not dampen the wonderful time we had with Germaine & Nick who traveled over from Singapore to have a pre wedding portrait session in Prague.

When you have two very fun, easy going hipsters like Germaine & Nick anything is possible and, well, I hope the results here speak for themselves. If they capture the fun, happy, and wonderful personalities of these two great people then I have done my job. Of course having a good looking couple who really enjoy life helps too ; )
