Jason had a very big surprise for Bethany when she arrived to meet up with him in Prague: a stunning engagement ring!
And if that was not enough, his other surprise was a romantic engagement portrait session taken on the streets of Prague on a wonderful autumn night. Yes, southerners are that romantic!
As Jason and Bethany hail from the American south (like yours truly) I really wanted to do something very special for them - so an evening portrait session was planned. We do many sessions here but for me there is nothing more special than an evening session where you can relax and enjoy the solitude of Prague castle or some of our favorite cobblestone streets. Prague at night is truly romantic and unlike other cities that I have photographed in I simply love the atmosphere here. It is that special of a place especially when you have a wonderful couple like Bethany & Jason who really enjoyed their time.
In the end there were so many beautiful images that Martina and I had two very different edits (and came up with a mixture of both edits presented here). As you can see, we do things a bit differently with our engagement portrait sessions, and what truly matters is that a wonderful couple have a great time in a beautiful city on a very special night - as a photographer to capture the feeling of moments like this for a wonderful couple is the biggest reward of all!
To Bethany & Jason, it was a real pleasure creating these images on your behalf and I hope you receive a lifetime of joy out of them! I wish you both much love & success together! And I look forward to seeing you two again in the New Year!
