Congratulations to Anastasia & Sergey who came down from one of my favorite cities, St. Petersburg (Russia) to marry here in Prague!
As a reportage photographer I always enjoy documenting things as they happen so when Anastasia told me there would be a few traditions that they were going to have before the start of their wedding I was very keen to be a part of it. A few thousand Czech Krowns later, a few hand fulls of candy, champagne and a bit of singing and dancing and finding the right key - Sergey was finally able to see his bride. But before he could take her hand he had one more song and a shoe to present to see if she was the right one. And she was!
After their ceremony at Prague’s historical Old Town Hall, the site of the world famous Astronomical Clock we headed off for a portrait session around Old Town as well as Mala Strana. And as you can see we had a great time on a beautiful summer day in Prague!
To Anastasia & Sergey, I wish you both much love and success in your future together! I very much enjoyed getting to know you both more as well as sharing in your wonderful wedding day here in Prague! And perhaps the next time I am in St. Petersburg you can show me around?
