Congratulations to Alison & Rob who recently had a beautiful autumn wedding at Prague’s Old Town Hall.
Alison & Rob are not like the typical young couples that are normally presented here, but in many ways, their love runs much deeper, as they are clearly more at ease with each other and enjoy themselves more than many of the couples I have photographed. When walking with Alison & Rob around Prague Castle or Mala Strana, you can truly feel that they have and will continue to have a rich & wonderful life together and for each other.
It is obvious; I am still awestruck when I meet wonderful people like Alison & Rob and I am able to capture a part of their happiness for them. When you spend a part of your professional career documenting social issues, or simply other people’s misery - it profoundly affects you and not always for the better. Being around people who truly express their love for each other has become a catharsis. Simply stated, being a wedding photographer (a relatively new one I should add) is an incredibly rewarding experience, one that I will never tire of or take lightly.
And finding a partner and committing yourself completely to them can happen at any and every age something we should never lose sight of. Sometimes we just have to open our hearts to finally see it to believe it. And when you do finally find it, muster all of the energy and love you can as very few people are so lucky to get a second chance.
To Alison & Rob, thank you both for choosing me to be your wedding photographer, I wish you both much love & happiness in your future together. And I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed creating them!
